MILO

1. When did you start doing street art?

Not so long ago, around 8 years ago.

2. Why/ How did you start doing street art?

It happened suddenly, I was in Italy and a festival asked me to paint a big surface, and from that moment I think I never stopped.

3. How long does it take to complete one project?

Usually to realize a 5floor building it takes me around 7 days.

4. Where do you get inspiration for your artwork?

From my everyday life, I let everything around me, inspire me..from things I see in the newspaper to the sounds around me while I’m taking a walk.

5. What does street art mean to you?

A way to interact with my reality. Every time it’s a challenge, and I use to face it working hard, like in a meditation mood.

6. What had the most impact on your style?

For sure our society, the way we connect to each other in our cities, that for me can be considered as a common habitat.

7. What is one of your best work?

I have no favorite work, cause each one is a little part of me!

8. What do you wish to accomplish with your artworks?

I use to take part in a lot of festivals dedicated to street art, and most of them are placed in specific poor areas in order to bring beauty where there’s not. So I hope to underline with my works, the problems of each area,  but most of all to give people some kind of beauty to experience.

9. How would you define your style? How is it different from others?

I think it’s simply the correct adjective, it’s black and white mainly lines with some colors to underline the meaning of the message I want to spread.

10. How do you think street art will be in the future?

I think that it will continue like this, I mean like in these years for a long period. Street art is living a boom period, due to the fact that many cities discover it’s a good deal to start a renovation of some inner areas.
